Note to everyone who might use or refer to the information that I provide on this blog:
Troubleshooting your computer can make you lose work, productivity, time, etc. However, I have added warnings in the places where they should be to help you be aware of the potential for loss. Keep in mind that since I’m not forcing you to do these things, you alone are liable to what you’re about to do to your computer!
Be aware that using a registry editor can really damage your Windows installation. If you delete a file (and empty the recycle bin), it’s gone! If you save over a file, it’s gone! If you chose not to save a new document, it's gone!
Just be smart and don’t be afraid to back stuff up and ask questions. And don’t say I didn’t warn you!
